Correction: from Margarette's book,
Vol II, page 952:

James Goolsby born 1823 Jasper Co.Ga
wed 2 Feb 1843 Gray, Jones Co.Ga
died 3 Feb 1891 Hillsboro, Jones Co.Ga

There was no mention of death/place for Joel or Susan E. Goolsby Jackson. Might have to look to records in Texas for that.

If I run across anything on this will post on this forum.
