Dear Michael,
I tried to call my grandmother and couldnt get a hold of her I will call my dad tomorrow and see if I can get some names from him. I do know that some of the Goolsby's that I'm kin to are somehow kin to the Perkins in Texas. My mom gave me some names today but I didn't write them down and can't really remember.. But it seems like I've heard of Seth Calvin and Jesse Mae. I believe that was one of the names my mom said today. I think that I already told you that I had a great aunt Gerldine. And my grandpa's name was Abe Buren Goolsby. I will ask my grandma as soon as I can get a hold of her what my great grandpa and grandma's names were. And get some names of more Goolsby's that I'm kin to in Texas. Do you know if the towns that you mentioned are close to Balch Springs or Mesquite. I havent been to Texas in almost five years. I'm not real familiar with the towns accept the metroplex and some of Abeline. Does Joe Perkins or Clyde Perkins ring a bell in any of your head. They are from Balch Springs an Mesquite and they are some kin to the Goolsby's on thier mothers side. Well I will go for now and hopefully get more info tomorrow. Then I will get back on here. And maybe if you can get a little more. That would really help I dont really know alot about the family accept for my dad's brothers and sisters I believe there are nine of them. I will try to get all of the names for you. They are not really a close-nit kind of people but I would love to know how far back we can go. That would be kinda cool to find a distant cousin or something... THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY...
SINCERELY,
CYNTHIA GOOLSBY
