Just for the record I am providing some genealogy information on the Idaho Goolsbys. My Father, Jack Everett Goolsby, son of Marvin B. Goolsby of Bessemer, Alabama moved his family to Boise, Idaho in 1956. Jack fathered two boys and 1 girl...his two sons, Marvin Neal Goolsby (born 1944) and Laurence Allen Goolsby (both 1946). Marvin N., my brother, passed away in 1998 from prostate while in Honolulu, Hawaii. He fathered a son, Brian Goolsby (born 1975), who now lives on Guam. Laurence Allen Goolsby fathered a son, Jeffrey Charles Goolsby in 1977. Laurence Allen Goolsby lives in Jerome, Idaho and Jack Everett Goolsby lives in Boise, Idaho.
There is another family of Goolsby who reside in Bliss and Gooding, Idaho and are evidently from the Florida Goolsby clan - we have talked but we really aren't sure whether we are directly related or not.
