Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

James E. Goolsby.
I have also been contacted by another Jim H. Goolsby. It took me a few days to figure out that you are two different people! I am of the Georgia, Jasper County Goolsbys but am corresponding with someone In Birmingham that is in your line. I come down as follows:

John Gouldsby > Thomas Gouldsby > Thomas Gouldsby II > James Goldsby > Burgess Goldsby > Wade Goolsby > Wade Bird Goolsby > Richard Harold Goolsby Sr. (Anybody know much about his Wife Agnes L. Nolan who was orphaned after age 10 and raised in a convent? Her father seems to be a Thomas Nolan ) > Leonard Oscar Goolsby > Sara Goolsby > me. Does anyone know for sure how or when the name seems to "evolve"?

Thanks,
Sharon
