Good Morning James,I have several questions for you so here goes: I have John Turrentine Goolsby's parents listed as Thomas Gouldsby and Tabitha Turrentine (hence the middle name Turrentine I would imagine) I have a copy of John Turrentine Goolsby's will( from Oglethorpe Co.)B. 1725 D. Jan 14 1808.)Is this the John that you say was married to Mary jefferson? John had a Son named William born 1755 married to Lettie Merritt and that he died 1820 in Jasper co GA., but there is also a William "Willie" born in 1748. This could just be an error on the census records. William Has a son named Issac who married Elizabeth Maneon Dec 17, 1804. He died in jefferson Co AL. in april of 1860 according to the records that I have.I have a James M Goolsby listed as a son of Issac, are there other children? can you send me what you have? Finnally, you have an Edward Goldsby listed as John Turrentine Goolsby's father- who is this person and do you have the wifes maiden name? I know that there were several John Goolsby's(Gouldsby, Goldsby)around back then and brothers had a habit of naming sons after their brothers and there were Jr.s named as well, which causes a terrible headache for present ancesters!Do you have Email access and would you be willing to e-mail me at my address listed above? Starting with John Gouldsby born 1647, Licolnshire England till the present with my son Keith, I can go back 13 Generations with the fisrt 9 generations going from father to son. Well, type at ya later.
