Charles, in the 1920 Census for Coleman County, TX, if you look at the next entry on the page after James H. Goolsby, you will see Newton Mullinax and his wife Fannie. Fannie was James's younger sister. Their mother, Josephine Goolsby, was living with them.

The 1900 Census for Anderson County, TX shows James living in the area of Justice Precinct 1 with his father and mother, James and Josephine. His brother, John Thomas Goolsby, reported to the dreft board that he was born in Palestine, TX.

John Thomas Goolsby was my daughter-in-law's great grandfather.

Hope this helps.
