I can't be sure yet, but I think it might be John Thomas Goolsby and Laura Belle Lewis. The Texas Birth Index 1903-1997 (in Ancestry .com, they got it from Salt Lake City) shows a May Dell Goolsby, born 12 Mar 1918 in Houston County, Texas. John and Laura have a "Mayes E.", age 9, in their household. "Mayes E." is a perfect sound alike for Maisie. However...

I just checked the 1930 Census for Goolsby in Houston County and I found a Maydell age 12 in the household of Laurence and Corine Goolsby.
