Do you know anything on the Emberton side; Robert Hampton Emberton, married to Mary Emeline Step, thoese were my great grandparents, can't find anything on Mary Emeline, all I know is by word of mouth handed down that she was the daughter of Ruben Stepp (Cherokee) and a captive white woman.....thanks, for the registration of my dad.
I have the Emberton line back to England, at least on the male side.
