Hi Tim.
As you can see, I don't come this way often. There isn't much more I can add.

A lady posted some information on stating that this Kirby was born 1785 in Wilkes Co. GA. Died: 6 Dec. 1843, Russell Co. AL
Father: Isiah Stephen Goolsby [Sr],
Mother: Mary Randolph
Spouse: Nancy Colley - married 22 Jul 1813 in Wilkerson Co GA
List of Children:

- 1814, married twice: #1 Ward Hudson 10 Dec 1828, #2 Adam Ragland 3 Mar 1836

HENRY K. 1815 - 1843 Russell Co. AL ????

MARY - 1816 Oglethorpe Co GA d: before 1845, married John Ruthledge, 25 June 1830 Meriwether Co GA

ISIAH F. 1817

LOUISIANA H. - married James Martin, 1 Aug 1833 Meriwether GA

EBENEZER B*. - 1819

EGBERT R*. - 1821

JAMES - 1824

JOHN FRANCE - 1825 - 1852 [possibly John Fanning]

KIRBY - 1827

WARREN W*. - 1829

I asked her where her information came from and she referred me to a letter written by Zane Geier, in 1997, regarding book written in 3 volumes by a Doris Yeager Hawkins of Mc Calla Al. titled: GENEALOGY AND HISTORY OF GOOLSBY, GOULDSBY, GOOLSBY-BEE, ETC BRANCH FAMILIES. and additional notes written by MRS. GAY G. JONES, a genealogist of Stone Mountain GA.

Mrs. Hawkins wanted to sell her book(s) for $90.00 but he stated her handwriting and typing was marginal nor was there complete indexing and he had trouble with her organization of material.

So, as you can see not much to go on.

Should you find anything you think might apply to this family, please post for me.

Thank you!
