I have a Louisa Catherine Goolsby (daughter of Martha Minter Wilson and William Carpenter Goolsby). My records show that William C. Goolsby died about 1849/1850 in Forsyth Co., Ga. and that Martha Minter Wilson Goolsby died aft. 1880 in Forsyth Co., Ga.

Louisa Catherine Goolsby married Mathew Youngblood in 1848 so she would have been cited in her mother's will as Louisa Youngblood in 1853. Are you sure you have the date of the writing of the will correct? I am thinking that maybe after Wm Goolsby died Martha Minter Wilson Goolsby married a man named Stewart???

We have been searching for years for the parents of Martha Minter Wilson who married in 1821 in Oglethorpe Co., GA.

Virginia Tuttle in Marietta,GA
