I live in Michigan. I don't know any thing about this at all but I'm trying to learn. Is there a link to the Slave Schedule?
I don't know how old Sam was at the time of the marriage, but my grandfather's delayed birth certificate says that he was 60 when my grandfather Ivry was born in 1879, so if the the birth certificate is correct Sam would have been born in1819. it also says that there were 7 other children born before Ivry.
