I have a gg-grandmother Maria A. Goosman, born 18 December 1834, died 18 December 1908. Married Heinrich Uplegger in Germany in 1856. Heinrich Uplegger and Maria A. Goosman were both born in Meklenburg, Germany. They had 8 children: John, Henry, Hennericka, Anna, Mary, Caroline, Lena and Emma.

1880 US Census Record, Plymouth Township, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, 06/15/1880, Page No. 23, Supervisors District No. 1, Enumeration District No. 208, Dwelling No. 202, Family No. 205, Line 16, Mary A. Uplegger, Age 44, wife, Born Meklenburg, Father born Meklenburg, Mother born Meklenburg.

Maria (Goosman) Uplegger is buried at Union Cemetery, Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Is this any connection to your Goosman family line?
