Gooseman-Heddleston-Dawson/ Washington Co., Ohio

My Great Great Grandmother was Cynthia Ann Gooseman, b.about 1812. She wed and Unknown Heddleston and their children were born in or around Grandview Township, Washington County, Ohio. Mr. Heddleston died about 1840 from injuries after falling from a horse. Cynthia later married William Dawson and they moved through Indiana to the area around Muscatine and Van Buren Counties, Iowa. Cynthia's Heddleston children were my great grandmother Didemma Heddleston b. in 1838 in New Matamoras, Grandview Township, Washington County, Ohio; Demoranith (Dan) b. about 1834; Mary and Robert, born before 1840. These children were given up for adoption after the family was left destitute after the death of their father. I would like to know more about Cynthia's Gooseman family. I feel like she was related to the other Goosemans in Washington County but I haven't found a solid link. I wonder if she may have been a sister to John H. Gooseman of New Matamoras, Washington County, Ohio. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Susie Dent
