Gooseman family, UK from 1557

At last - some other people interested in my mother's family name! I have traced her family back to 1557, greatly assisted by the fact that the family tended to stay in North Lincolnshire, UK. In the 16th century, this area was the only area where Goosemans lived in England, although a few lived in South East Scotland. The spellings of the name mentioned elsewhere on this page all appeared at different times in the parish registers I have researched. Gradually, however, from about 1650, my family used the name Gooseman. I have extensive data on the Lincolnshire Goosemans, if anyone is interested. For my part, I would like to know if any of my own ancestors emigrated to the USA, Canada or elsewhere from Lincolnshire.
