Joseph Gordanier was my great great grandfather. He was from Manchester, MI. He served in the civil war 17th infantry regiment company B. He is listed as marrying a Lode? on the 1870 census and the other two children were not born yet. Not sure what happened there. He married Louisa Anthony. Their children were: Ben Anthony (great grandfather), Archie, Belle, and Iris? Ben Anthony married Ivy Love. Their children: Claude Byron (my grandfather), Arthur, Robert (served and died in WWII and is buried in France), Ivy. I hope this helps. In my tree, Joseph is as far back as I have gotten. If anyone has other information for me I would be greatful.
