Hi Darlene, Jeremiah was a brother to my 4th great-grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Gordon, b. 1805 Kennebec, Maine. He married Mary Bumpus in 1929. They moved to Iowa about 1840. His son, Josiah was my 3rd great-grandfather, b. 1835 also in Kennebec. He married Jane Amanda Dickerson about 1855 in Iowa and Cinthia Ann Owens in 1876 also in Iowa. Josiah and Jane's son, William was my 2nd great-grandfather b. about 1856 and married Mary Emily Greeley about 1880/81. They had Bert Josiah b 1881 m. 1901 Harriet Grace Bennett in Iowa. Their son Dale Laverne b 1923 married his second wife Teresina Adela Vigil in New Mexico about 1950-they were my grandparents-their daughter Juanita is my mother.
