Darlene-I have gotten the same line through much research and probing of family members over the years. The EN/ON thing (at least in my line) came about due to my gg-grandfather, William Thomas, and his sons Bert and Clyde. William and Clyde fought with my g-grandpa Bert about the spelling...in fact Bert and Clyde did not speak for many years because of it...I'm not sure who changed the spelling but my grandpa Bert spelled it ON.
