Gordens ~ Downeast Maine ~ 1700's

In the the later part of the 1700's, there were four Gorden men living in Camden (formly Megunticook), Maine, and their names were John Gorden, John Gorden, Jr., Benjamin Gorden and William Gorden. Who were these men? Were they related? If they weren't descendants of Alexander Gorden (Scots prisoner brought to this country in 1650), of Exeter, N.H., then who were they, where did they come from and how did they happen to be living there?
