Sir David,
You will be relieved to know that you are far from the last of the British Gosnolds. Not only do my uncles John and Tony Gosnold (East Yorkshire) have sons, but when I visited British Airways a few years ago there was a Barry Gosnold employed in the Engineering Department. I don't know where he fits into the family. Come to think of it, I would be delighted to make your own acquantance as I thought the family was getting thin on the ground. Whereabouts are you? I (along with my sister Karen Moore) am from the East Yorkshire branch of the family, via my mother. Be nice to meet up with another family member.
