Dear David:
I too am related to the Keene family and the Withers familly (Elizabeth & James, Sr.). Elizabeth's father, was Matthew Keene and grandfather was Thomas Keene II, the immigrant (1593-1665), married Mary Thorley. However, some have Thomas Keene I (1560-1615) who married Elizabeth Gosnold. My question where is the proof (birth record, death record, will, etc.) that Thomas I is the father of Thomas, the immigrant. Thanks for any help you may give on this. It will open the door to many more ancestors if this proof can be found.
