After checking my records, I would say Nellie was born Ellen A Gosnold (Nellie being a derived form of Ellen) in June 1866 in Windsor - died Sept 1926 in Windsor.
Her father was James E Gosnold, born in Meldreth, Cambridge in 1833 - died in Dec 1893 in Windsor, his occupation was listed in the 1881 census as Policeman, address 31 Albert Street, Clewer (which is part of Windsor) Berkshire. In fact this street is around 1.5km from Windsor Castle, a 5 minute walk. Nellie's mother was Susan Merry, born in Norwich in 1935. Nellie had 3 younger brothers, James J, Charles F and George E, born 3, 5 and 7 years respectively after her.
James E Gosnold's father was James Gosnold, Commander in Royal Navy, born 9th Jan 1788.
James E had 2 younger brothers, Jarman and George and 3 younger sisters, Eliza (Nellie's aunt), Mary and Frances.
There is a record at St Catherine's House of Eliza Ann Gosnold getting married in Windsor in June 1890 (don't know to whom or if it's relevant to you).
