Barbara, my records show Elizabeth Gosnold was born in 1570 in Suffolk England of parents Robert Gosnold III (1534-1615) and Ursula Naunton (abt 1545-1615), they married in 1559. Elizabeth was left £8 a year in her fathers will.
Elizabeth married Thomas Keene of Otley, Suffolk England (not sure when) and had two sons, one being Thomas Keene II born in 1593 at Otley.
Thomas II married Mary Thorley in VA and they had at least 4 children, one being William Keene (1641/42, Kent Island, Potomac River MD (now VA).-1683/84 Northumberland Co, VA).
William married Elizabeth Rogers (1646-1720) they had 5 children, one being Elizabeth Keene born May 16 1669, she would be my 3rd cousin 11 times removed.
Elizabeth married Samuel Samford on March 26 1689 and they had 4 boys and a girl - Giles, John, Samuel, William and Elizabeth.
