Hi, I have been to Germany a couple of times and my father is very intersted in his family past. One year we went back, and found that my Gossner ggfather moved from austria (near a town called Sontag) to germany. My closest Gossner relitives come from an area called Oberhausen, near Neu Ulm, Swabia, which is in Germany. I don't know if this would help you any but it might give you a start.
