Hi Sue. This is Wayne Gosson, living in the Omaha, Nebraska area. I saw your request for more info on Adelia Amero and I came up with some interesting stuff.. My brother, Mark in Medford, Oregon, sent me a copy of our family tree and I have no idea where he came up with his info but I know he researched it a long time.
In the back of his document, it shows the name Adelia Amirault as the wife of my great grand uncle..[doesn't give his name]
It also shows James Gosson as my grand uncle.[doesn't show his wife's name either] In looking through the charts, I can't find either one of their names but I did find one place where the Amirault's and Gosson's married each other. It was in Plymton, Digby, Novia Scotia in 1875, when Charles Gosson married Marguerite Amirault. To complicate things even more, Charles' father was John A. Gosson and his mother was Seraphie Amirault.
The chart "dead-ends" at that point and doesn't show where James Gosson and Adelia Amirault came together...
All this info is assuming the name "Amirault" has changed to Amero. Or, I could be completely wrong....but the coincidence would be wierd...My listing of relatives in the back of the book I was sent shows 61 Amiraults [going back to 1658--Francois, born in Tours,France.]and no Amero's...hope I've helped in some way and feel free to reach me at Rocky33@cox.net
