I am also researching the Goth family; my Goths lved in Hornby Lancashire and I wonder if they are related? There was a Thomas who married Margaret in the 1816 (ish) they had Mathew who was born in 1817 and died in 1887; he was married to June; they had Thomas, James, John, Margaret, Jane, Matthew, Ann Alice, and Betsy. They eventually ended up in Horby Lancashire and were gamekeepers at the castle. Not sure if they are the same family but I hope this helps, let me know if they are the same family please. thank you Kim Abbott
