I have a photo copied Christmas card showing George W. Gowdy standing by a horse.Also the following letter:"Naches,
Washington Dec. 13, 1942, My Dear Cousins, Flarence & Edd [Samuel E. and Florence H.], Well here it is almost Christmas again.And
one year ago I was on my way east.And I wish I was on my way east now.Any way I wish you all a Very Meray Christmas And a happy New Year.If I cant be with you, I hope you are all well.Hazel and I are both well.Her husband is in the Army and she is living with me.When have you seen Zella and Dr?The dear old souls, I would like to be with them this winter.Love to AllGeo. There may be other children of this couple, but I wasn't able to identify
them for certain on the census for 1920
