My grandmother, Maggie Lucille Gowens is the youngest of 12 children born to General Washington Gowens (1860-1945) and Frances Emily Phariss (1871-1942). General Washington was also previously married to Rachel Ann Needham (1863-1891) with 3 children between them which really means she was the 15th. child born to G.W. Gowens. Next, General Washington Gowens is the youngest son of James Blair Gowens (1810-1898) and Sarah Luvisa Jackson (1827-1892). James Blair Gowens was married before to Sarah's older sister Maryann Livinia Jackson (1816-1843) and had 7 children with her, making James Blair Gowens the youngest of 8 children.

Finally, James Blair Gowens is the youngest of 10 children born to Charles Gowens (1763-1865) and Elizabeth Blair (1770-1880). Also, Charles Goins could be the youngest of 3 born (but probably more) to David Goins (b.abt 1730 Brunswick, VA).

Did I forget to tell you..... my mother is the youngest out of 7 born to Maggie Lucille Gowens and Sammie Redford Galloway. So, That makes me the son of the youngest born (x5). I hope that makes since, lol.
