MY FATHER, LEONARD JOHN GRABO WAS BORN IN FLINT MICHIGAN IN MARCH OF 1919. HE WAS ONE OF THREE BROTHERS. PARENTS HAD A STORE IN FLINT. PARENTS DIED LEAVING THE 3 BOYS ALONE I GATHER. THIS HISTORY IS VAGUE AND I AM NOT SURE WHERE TO START LOOKING FOR THE GRABO. WE TOO HEARD THE RUMOR THAT THIS LINE OF GRABOS CAME FROM GERMANY. ALSO HEARD THE TALE THAT THE FAMILY NAME HAD BEEN CHANGED FROM GRABOSKI TO GRABO. NOT MUCH HELP, BUT WE SHARE THE SAME BRICK WALL.
