DEATH NOTICES FROM OLD LOUISIANA NEWSPAPERS (1800's)

There is some confusion about the INDEX to Death Notices from Louisiana Newspapers, and I am hoping to make myself easier to understand.
A "List" of those names in Death Notices in Louisiana Newspapers is available...however that "list" is not online.
To view a list of people named in the Death Notices, one will need access to a copy of the following Publication:
The name of the Publication: "DEATH NOTICES FROM LOUISIANA NEWSPAPERS"
The Authors: Brenda Lagroue Mayers & Gloria L. Kerns
The catalog # of the Fiche: The St. Landry Parish death notices would be in
Volume 6 and the reference/catalog number is "FHL US/CAN Fiche 6087223"
"DEATH NOTICES FROM LOUISIANA NEWSPAPERS" is available on Microfiche through local Latter Day Saints [LDS] Family History Centers.
With the above information one can go to an LDS Family History Center knowing exactly what to ask for. Some LDS Family History Centers have the microfiche on site, others will order it for you. The fee to order the microfiche is minimal (I think around $3.50). Don't quote me on that...You would need to check with them to ask about their fees. They, then, allow the microfiche to be viewed at their establishment.
"DEATH NOTICES FROM LOUISIANA NEWSPAPERS" will indicate the following:
1) The name of the deceased.
2) The name of the Newspaper.
3) The date of the issue.
4) The page and column number.
5) THE SOURCE: An indication of Library housing the newspapers in which the Death notice or article appears.
EXAMPLE:
Here are some listings of Death Notices of several names which are microfilmed and available from Special Collections, Hill Memorial Library, LSU, Baton Rouge, La. Listed are Emilie Barre and Emelie Barre.

Using the microfiche, one can, then, look up the list of people named in the death notices in Louisiana newspapers, find the name of the Newspaper and date the article appeared, find out which Library houses that newspaper, and order copies of specific death notices from the appropriate library.
The publication "DEATH NOTICES FROM LOUISIANA NEWSPAPERS" is not online.
What is online, on the LDS website, is more information about various volumes indicating which volumes cover which parishes, and the catalog/reference numbers of both volumes and the formats the volumes are stored as [Microfiche, film, etc.].
