Just seen your message, I don't visit this site as often as I should. I don't know of any Gradleys from Switzerland but your Missouri ones have Frank John and Richard are common family names in my family tree from England so there maybe a connection. Is it family legend about the Switzerland link or do you have solid proof? I do have a John Gradley who went to USA in 1745 or so of whom I have no further knowledge and I have noticed Gradleys in the civil war fighting on both sides and one in the American War of Independence. I would be interested in seeing your family tree?
