Hello!I also have Graf's from Milwaukee, Wi.Don't know that in itself is all that special, but you never know!
My graf's start with Friedrich Graf B: 24 Nov 1833 D: 11 March 1885 in Milwaukee, WI Burried at Holy Trinity/St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
Friedrich Graf married Maria Magdelen Bauemler on 22 Oct. 1856 at Old St. Mary's Church in Milwaukee, WI.Maria B: 27 Sept 1838 D: 18 Jan 1909 Burried at same cemetery as Friedrich.
They had the following children:
Miriam (Strueder), Frederick, JR, Johann, Franz, Caroline(Dahlman), Joseph, Anna C. (Bunzel).
Friedrich parents names are believed to be Wolfgang & Maggie Graf.It also believed he had a brother or some other relative by the name of Johannes Graf that was a witness to his children marriage.
Also it appears that St. Martini Lutheran Church was a church that several of my other relatives attended.I am not sure if my Graf was Catholic or if the Bauemler side was.Franz Graf married a woman whoose religion was Lutheran.I just thought that was an interesting side note.
Well, let me know what you think.
Thanks, Susan
