Hi Jen,
I am the ggrand-daughter of Augusta and Frederick Kepplinger. My grandmother was Minnie Ade nee Kepplinger, who was born 2/14/1896, and died 12/19/1972. Minnie had 4 children, Agnes, George, John and Edna May, all deceased. Actually, Minnie had two children by her first marriage to John Juhas, Agnes and George. My grandmother told me that her first husband (Juhas) died the same week as her father Frederick Kepplinger, during the flu epidemic in 1918. After John's death, Minnie married John Ade and had two more children, John and Edna May. I am the daughter of Edna May. One of the stories I can remember my grandmother telling me was when her mother and father came to America, they were sponsored by a cousin named Lizzie Grams. She also told me that their first meal here in america was Hot dogs and baked beans. Take care and hope to hear from you Sue Bryan
