Census records for Osborn, Greene Co., OH, 1870:

Harnish, Jacob, 30, m, w
Harnish, Rebecca, 28, f, w
Harnish, Armenia, 2, f, w

Census records for Osborn, Greene Co., OH, 1880:

Harnish, Jacob, w, m, 41
Harnish, Rebecca, w, f, 38
Harnish, Minnie, w, f, 12

From these census records, we can surmise that Jacob was born ca. 1838 in PA, Rebecca ca. 1842 in OH, and Minnie ca. 1868 in OH. Ohio death records list a Jacob Harnish passing May 22, 1900, in Osborn, Greene Co., OH.

Census records for Bethel Twp., Clark Co., OH 1850:

Harnish, Abram, 34, m, w
Harnish, Elizabeth, 31, f, w
Harnish, Christian, 13, m, w
Harnish, Jacob, 11, m, w
Harnish, Frances, 6, f, w
Harnish, William, 1, m, w
Hess, Frances, 22, f, w

Other researchers on Rootsweb.com indicate Elizabeth's maiden name is Hess, which would be born out if the Frances listed above is her sister. These researchers also indicate that both Abram & Elizabeth were dead by 1856, thus leaving the children orphans. In the 1860 census for Bethel, Christian and Jacob can be found living in different households presumably as employees of the heads of those households.

I trust this answers your question.
