Hi Anna: Thanks for your reply. To answer your questions. Yes I am a Gram descendant. My grandmother was Estella Gram who married Walter Cain. Estella's father was Lee Roy Gram, his father was Elias Peter Gram, and Elias's father was our immigrant ancestor Oliver (Olaus) Peter Gram from Denmark. Oliver Peter was quite a character and the Danish archives some years ago were trying to track him down. My last location of him in back in Paris, after leaving the USA and his child. He was one of the architects that worked on the L'Arc du Carrousel in Paris. I have records which I will be glad to send you. I live on the east coast but get back to S. IL as much as I can.
I am not acquainted with Helen Carr but I thank you for her address and will contact her. I retreived your e-mail address and will also send you a message that way. So nice to meet a cousin. Karen
