I have evidence that strongly suggests that John Gram's first wife, Elizabeth, was the sister of my great-great-grandfather, Daniel Johnson. Although Elizabeth says in all the census records that she was born in VA, her parents and oldest brother were born in Hampshire Co, VA, but she was born in Montgomery County, Ohio.

John Gram and Elizabeth Johnson were married 4 Aug 1836 in Montgomery Co, OH. I have a copy of the marriage record.

In addition, Elizabeth's sister, Delilah Ann Johnson, married Cornelius Gram on 23 Jun 1836 in Montgomery County, just 11 days prior to Elizabeth's marriage. I believe that John Gram and Cornelius Gram may have been brothers.

Please contact me at if you would like to share further information.
