I think Eliza Jane had brothers Henry and Joseph because Abner Beal came to Putnam County after Eliza Jane died and that is where their son William Henry Beal remained. Also where I am from. I had found the Grammer name at the Putnam County library and had figured Joseph might be related. As for Henry, I have found where he was in the Civil War 19th Iowa Infantry Co. B He is a private age 20 enlisted in 1862. His residence says Libertyville, Jefferson Co., Iowa. George W. Grammer is listed in his pension papers (enlisted Iowa) that his parents are Henry Grammer and Elisabeth Grammer. Nothing positive but seems likely.
