I have researched the name Growel,Graul, Crowel, and found the name or names are also connected to Scotland. Graul Goes back to the Isle of Barra in Scotland and may have originated there. During the 16th century 400,000 scot and Irish were forced off their lands and fled to southern Germany. they were know as the wild geese. I looked in the Irish and scottish white pages and found two names of Graul in scotland and Ireland. If any one else has any Info on this please e-mail me. Jeff
