My father was born George Edwin Graul 03/0-3/1896,in New Jersey, possibly Jersey City or Paterson according to family history his ancestors came here as mercenery troops during the revolutionary war or before, the first Graul baby, which I believe was a girl was born in Salem NJ during the 1600's. There is some connection to the Lenape Indians in New Jersey. My father's parents George & ? died in the flu epidemic in 1905. He was 9 at the time and therefore knew little or nothing about his ancestors. My father was 1 of 5 children of George Graul & his wife. Ethel,George, Albert, Blanche, and Gladys were their names.
