I have a George W. Fairfield born 8 Nov 1842 in Quebec, could be Ste-Scholastique, son of a John Gilbert Fairfield born 1805+- in Maine(?)and Felonise Poitras of L'Assomption, Quebec.

George W. married in 1871+- Philomene Gravel. They had 9 children born in and around Ste-Scholastique, Qc. Rockland, Ontario, Clarence Creek, Ontario.

This is a long shot, but I'm actually looking for George W. Fairfield's grandfather. His father as I said above, is John Gilbert Fairfield b. 1805, Maine? married Felonise Poitras in Chatham, Que., 28 june 1837.

Would you have any info. Thanks.

Charlotte
