My father did some research on his family lineage and he had found that our part of the Gravel clan moved to Massachusetts from Quebec sometime in the late 1800's. My grandfather (or pepe) had 4 brothers and grew up in Ware, MA. My great grandfather, Alphonse Gravel, had a little restaurant called Gravel's Luncheonette, I believe. My grandfather's name was Clarence Gravel- he had 2 sons Robert Gravel and Donald Gravel. Unfortunately, I cannot recall all of my grandfather's brothers' names. If anyone knows of this part of the Gravel clan- please let me know.
