Henri Gravelle m Mrs. Burns
Looking for information or relatives of Henri Gravelle, stonecutter, who migrated from (?Montreal?) to Marquette, Michigan in mid-late 1800's, married
Mrs Burns from Ireland/Windsor, Ontario. They had many daughters: Teresa,m. Harry Mueller (my grandparents), Lorette, Irene, Marie, Lena, Sally, Alice, Margueritte & at least 2 to 4 others.
A few moved to Chicago to find work in the teens; Sally stayed in the UP, Lena housekeeper to nuns in Detroit, Alice lived in Guam and a couple ran booze in suitcases on the train from Windsor to their relatives in Detroit during prohibition.A lively group that loved martinis.
