Seeking info on William Gray, born ca 1808 in NC, living in Randolph Co. IN in 1840 and 1850. Married to Caroline, also born NC, and had at least the following children:
John, b. ca 1835 married Phebe Ellen Simmons
Samuel, b. ca 1838
Edward, b. ca 1843
Margaret J, b. ca 1848
It appears that William died before 1856, as Caroline married Samuel Sutton in that year. She and dau. Margaret are living with him in 1860. Son John moved to Long Prairie, Todd Co., MN.
Any help on this family appreciated.
