Dr. John Isaiah Grayum m. Rebecca McBroom, 17 Feb 1842 in Cole County, MO. They had children: Mary A., Susan Jane, Elizabeth R. Emelin (mine), Sarah F., Minerva Hannah, and J.W.; an unnamed infant, James T., Peter McBroom, and Andrew J. all died in 1863 as infants or small children. Rebecca died prob. Dec 1870, although the Moniteau County Cem book reads 1890. 21 Feb 1871, John Isaiah m. Matilda Jane Guinn in Moniteau County, MO. They had children: Henry, Joe, John, Lou (f), Martha, Will, Julia, and Charles Tennyson. Matilda died before 1883 when John Isaiah m. Mrs. Mary Bailey in Morgan County, MO. He died 5 Apr 1884 at his home, south of Versailles. His obit says he was a doctor at High Point until a couple of years before his death. I have been unable to find John Isaiah &/or family on the 1880 census under anything I could think of. Some of the married names of the girls: Jackson, Duke, Guinn, Apperson, Wilcox. Any descendants out there who can shed some light on this family?
