Hello Marjorie & all. Richard Greatorex b 1612 was my great (x9) grandfather. Curiously, his step sister, Ann Geatorex b 1605 was my great (x10) grandmother, with their lines converging when William Brown b 1781 (descendant of Richard) married Elizabeth Orme b 1782 (descendant of Ann)! This follows from the research you have shared here.

I’m fascinated to hear how you came to this understanding.

The only evidence I have gives the marriage of Nicholas Gretrax & Isabell Sim(m)es 12 Oct 1601. This comes from Phillimores Index. I’m not questioning your research – just fascinated to hear how you have achieved it. Can you help at all?

Thank you,Robert
