I've managed to identify my Henry in 1881 census and he appears to be son of Thomas, a lacemaker born Macclesfield (Cheshire) circa 1827/28. His wife Elizabeth ??? was born at Hyson Green and was the same age. I'm hopeful of getting the marriage cert whenI can get down to the local "St Caths" index, but that's all I've got at the moment.
