Hi Cousin,

Can you tell me where you got information that the Graterakes family came from Wales .
I have information on the family living in Derbyshire in AD1340. They appear to have taken their name from their location which was Grate Rakes Dale near Buxton.
William Graterakes born 1540 was the soldier who went to Ireland and gained land in Affane Co Waterford,
