Hi Lisa,

Checked the 1881 Census and the only match was Clara Gretorex aged 17 living with her sister Emily aged 21 and Brother Thomas aged 19 at 65 Colton Street, Leicester. They all worked in the hosery business.
Also Joseph Capenerhurst aged 17 living with his family at 86 Filbert Street, Leicester.
The two matches seem to verify the right family, Greatorex & Capenerhurst are fairly unusual names and both families live near each other.
As regards the rest of your family the parents may be dead in 1881 and the older sisters married with different surnames.
Send me an E-Mail on
David T. Greatorex.
