This question posted many years ago but Chelsea Pensioner records are out and this George Greener has some 9 pages of documents. On enlistment Feb 1859 says he was 17 yrs 3 months at that time. Place of birth according to enlistment--Parish of Pembury, Tunbridge, Kent.

It does not give parents names. For that you have to get the marriage certificate.

ONe of the pages on the pensioner records has date of birth and bpatism for the 6 children.

He also had a nasty medical condition that he would have brought home and possibly could have died as a result of complications.
