My Great Grandfather was named James Greenhough - born approx. 1870 and died 1942.
He settled in the Edmonton area.He served in WW1 with the CEF - Canadian Expeditionary Force. Regimental Number 487453In doing a search of the National Archives, my brother found there was another James Greenhough #48747and a James William Greenhough #45108.Both were with the CEF.
You did not indicate if they came to Canada, but if he did, the James born in 1985 would be of service age during WW1. The address for the National Archives is http://www.archives.ca/http://www.archives.ca/
Hope this helps,
Sincerely,
Earl Greenhough
