I am hoping to find new info on any Greenough's (Greno) in Vermont. My 3rd great grandmother was born in Quebec as Marguerite Grignon in 182? and she and her family are listed in the 1850 census for Franklin, Franklin Co., VT. She is the daughter of Joseph Greenough, mother, Marguerite unknown. I have 4 siblings, Joseph, Philomen/Helene, Lawrence and Sophia. My Margaret Greenough married Joseph Mason and they also moved back and forth across the Vermont border in St. Armand, Quebec. In the Franklin area the name was changed to Greenia/Greno and other spellings. Please contact me at
